Statement of H-1b Harm
I worked in the field of technology, in Web design until Oct 2000 when all the jobs were outsourced and am witnessing it in my current occupation, which was not flooded until recently. Worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton, Maxim Group, WEFA, and many others.

SUMMARY RESUME

Not interested in competing anymore with non-Americans - in any field. Currently working in a different occupation but recently developed two websites with no interest in my online portfolio, my digital portfolio, or my extent of skills, a trend that began in 2000 after the last H1 visas were issued. I have heard 'the position is filled' too often and - now - know by whom, and for how much, and for next to nothing.

I have been homeless (and will be again?) when the companies I work for now have given my job to a H1 Visa. I have not had health insurance since 2002. I have skills (that I paid to attain after college) that would have put me into the professional field of technology development, but were sourced out by countries outside this one. The 'globalizing' of talent, skill or need is untrue in it's claim that it's unattainable within this country and it is most damaging to the citizens of this country.

ATTESTIONS

  • I have been harmed by the H-1b Program
  • I will join class action suits
